Welcome
DXChrono Desktop is a ham radio propagation display inspired by the classic Geochron world clock. It shows the real-time gray line (day/night terminator), solar indices, HF band conditions, DX Cluster spots, satellite tracking, and more – all in one central screen for DX situational awareness.
What you can do
- World map – NASA Blue Marble base with gray line, twilight zones, and your QTH
- Solar data – SFI, A-index, K-index, sunspot numbers from NOAA
- Band conditions – HF band status (80 m–10 m) for day and night
- Sun/Moon Az-El – Optional widget showing azimuth/elevation for Sun and Moon at your station
- Overlays – Aurora forecast, MUF (Maximum Usable Frequency), sun/moon
- DX Cluster – Live spots on the map with great-circle propagation lines; hover for tooltips
- Satellites – Track ISS and other amateur satellites with footprints
- Cloudlog – QSO stats and recent contacts from your Cloudlog instance
- ADIF Logbook file – Dedicated local-file logbook panel and map markers from your
.adifile - QRZ Logbook – Recent QSOs from QRZ on the map (optional labels and lines); see Integrations → QRZ Logbook
- N1MM+ – Contest/station context and recent QSOs when using N1MM Logger+
- PSK Reporter – Who’s hearing you and who you’re receiving (MQTT); optional desk widget with SNR bars and map markers
- Special Event mode – Last-worked banner, event branding, and contacts today for event stations and open days
- License – If you bought DXChrono: enter the key from your order email, register this computer (up to five PCs per key), optional check when the app starts
- Software updates – Optional reminder when a newer DXChrono build is available (Settings → Data)
